Warranty Registration

Thank you for choosing Johnswell Power Tools.

We appreciate your trust and support. By completing the warranty registration, you are entitled to a one-year free warranty service from the date of purchase (some products excluded; please refer to the warranty terms for details).


Warranty Terms & Conditions:

  • Please fill out all required fields accurately. The personal information you provide will be used solely for warranty purposes.
  • Uploaded purchase invoices, receipts, or stamped warranty cards must not be altered or modified.
  • If specific warranty terms apply to certain products, those terms shall prevail.
  • Cordless power tools are covered by a one-year warranty; paper warranty cards are valid for six months.
  • Lithium-ion batteries carry a one-year.
  • The warranty period begins from the purchase date stated on the proof of purchase.
  • Warranty service will not be provided without online registration or valid proof of purchase.
  • Products replaced under warranty retain the original warranty period — replacement does not renew or extend it.
  • Products not sold by Johnswell or its authorized distributors are not eligible for warranty or repair service.

Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by improper maintenance, loose parts, abnormal use, or continued use after malfunction.
  • Products with altered, defaced, or missing serial numbers or barcodes.
  • Damage or malfunction caused by impact, dropping, or overloading during use.
  • Damage due to improper voltage, unauthorized disassembly, or modification.
  • Battery damage caused by misuse, physical impact, or external forces.
  • Deterioration or corrosion caused by long-term storage.
  • Damage resulting from natural disasters (e.g., typhoon, earthquake, flood) or water intrusion.
  • Products of unknown origin, or units whose serial numbers cannot be verified.

Repair Procedure:

★ Within Warranty Period
  1. Prepare your product for service and provide the warranty serial number, name, and contact information.
  2. Send the product to Johnswell Service Center or a Makita Authorized Service Partner, indicating the issue and your contact number.
  3. After inspection, if the issue is confirmed not to be caused by human factors, Johnswell will perform the repair.
  4. Upon completion, the repaired product will be returned directly to you.
★ Out of Warranty
  1. Upon receiving the product, Johnswell will inspect it and inform you of the repair cost by phone.
  2. If you agree to the repair, it will be completed and returned to you (or available for pickup) after payment is made. 
    Shipping fees apply for returns.
  3. If you decline the repair, the product will be restored and returned as is (shipping fees apply).

Repair Service Contact

All warranty repairs must be sent to our authorized service centers in Taiwan with valid warranty cards, invoices, or receipts attached.
